Perfect Guacamole from Delicious Avocado Vegan. Guacamole is my favourite summer (fruit) snack. This delicacy originates from Mexico and is prepared mainly from avocado, salt, lime, peppers, tomatoes, onion and coriander – and for the brave, a bit of hot and sexy chilli!

conocer a personas WHAT YOU NEED
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 small onion
- a few leaves of fresh coriander
- 1 lime
- 1/2 red (bell) pepper
- chilli flakes
- 1 tomato (deep red)
- First I cut the avocado in half & remove the seeds. Then I use the spoon to take off the peel. Next I put the avocado flesh into a bowl
- To the bowl with avocado I add freshly squeezed lime juice and a pinch of salt. Lime makes the avocado stay nice and green rather than becoming dark
- Next I peel and finely chop the onions then add them to the bowl. I do the same with red peppers, coriander and tomato. Before chopping the tomato I remove the inside seedy bit
- Finally I mix it all or even crush it a little bit with a fork. You can add more salt or lime if you wish. Sprinkle some chilli flakes on top and drizzle with some lovely extra virgin olive oil
- Instead of bread or nachos I serve with rye crispy bread. To add a little bit of character to the crunchy bread I sprinkle oregano and inactive yeast flakes. Yummy!
